A seminar was held on the 13th of October 2022 which was attended by 40 students pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) with 3 faculty members from the renowned School of Engineering, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women. They attended this seminar conducted by Techasoft Pvt. Ltd. with the aim of gaining awareness about building a career in software development.

Techasoft Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing IT firm that offers complete IT solutions to businesses worldwide. It has previously entered the healthcare, food services, travel & tourism, logistics & shipping, e-commerce, finance, technology, manufacturing, and IT-enabled education service industries. It now has about 12 service sites and serves clients from a range of industries. To guarantee that Techasoft keeps its promises and fulfills its services, they have a staff of highly skilled IT professionals working around the clock. The seasoned team is composed of software engineers, web developers, designers, and experts in digital marketing.

Deep studies of topics crucial to the student's future careers, such as front-end development, and back-end development, were part of the daily agendas. User experience is the main emphasis of front-end development. Front-end developers use various technologies, design strategies, and coding languages to ensure users can easily browse and interact with websites. They create website layouts and drop-down menus. Front-end developers create websites using coding languages including JavaScript, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

On the other hand, back-end developers focus on the server side of the website. They make use of their technological know-how to do the background operations that create a website's foundation and overall operation, enabling the presence of the site's front end. These professionals create a website's functionality, statistics, and application programming interface (API). Back-end developers need a thorough understanding of server-side programming languages like Java, Python, and Ruby to construct apps. Students can learn or brush up on certain computer programming languages by taking boot camps.

The program also covered crucial topics including software training, mobile application development (React Native), and digital marketing. In the actual world, digital marketing often refers to marketing initiatives that are shown on a computer, phone, tablet, or other electronic devices. It may be seen in many different places, including social media updates, paid social adverts, display ads, online videos, and display commercials. Digital marketing is sometimes compared to "traditional marketing" techniques like billboards, periodicals, and direct mail. Mobile application development, on the other hand, refers to creating software applications for mobile devices. A network connection is typically used by a mobile application to communicate with distant computer resources. Additionally, the significance of software training was covered. Using training software, often known as a learning management system, makes it simpler to provide online training. It is used by companies of all sizes in many different industries to train employees, customers, and business partners.

This seminar's objective was to provide students with advice on how to cope with the severe strain of finding employment in software development in light of the industry's harsh competitiveness. The lessons would have improved the pupils' understanding of their subject areas.
