On December 9, 2023, a seminar convened at Bharathidasan Engineering College, attracting 45 second-year students pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science along with three faculty members. The event, facilitated by Techasoft Pvt. Ltd., aimed to enlighten attendees about pursuing a career in software development.

Techasoft Pvt. Ltd. is a rapidly expanding provider of comprehensive IT solutions serving various industries such as healthcare, food services, travel & tourism, logistics & shipping, e-commerce, finance, technology, manufacturing, and IT-enabled education. With approximately 12 service sites, Techasoft employs a team of highly skilled IT professionals, including software engineers, web developers, designers, and digital marketing experts, ensuring efficient service delivery.

The seminar delved into topics crucial for the students' future careers, including front-end and back-end development. Front-end development primarily focuses on enhancing user experience by employing various technologies and programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to ensure user-friendly website navigation and interaction.

Conversely, back-end developers concentrate on the server-side operations, laying the foundation for a website's functionality and operation. They employ server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, and Ruby to create website functionality, statistics, and APIs.

Additional agenda items covered digital marketing, mobile application development (specifically React Native), and software training. Digital marketing involves marketing campaigns displayed on electronic devices through various channels like social media, display ads, and online videos, contrasting with traditional marketing methods like billboards and direct mail.

Mobile application development focuses on creating software applications for mobile devices, typically utilizing network connections to access remote computer resources. Moreover, the significance of software training, facilitated by learning management systems, simplifies online training for employees, customers, and business partners across industries.
